Leather luggage is one surefire way to make your bags stand out. Leather has long been a classy option for just about anything, from coats to couches. It has always been in demand because it offers a high class finish that’s also durable. About the only thing leather doesn’t stand up to well is water.

And really, if you’re throwing your leather luggage into a swimming pool or a river, you’ve probably got bigger problems on your plate than what kind of luggage you brought along on your trip. Leather isn’t the lightest weight material, so it’s better suited for a carry on sized bag than a large week trip. But you can get it in just about any size you want, if the price is right.

One of the most popular leather luggage items is a laptop bag. Airline regulations allow you to take a purse, laptop bag, or briefcase onboard an airplane in addition to your carryon bag. Because they are so stylish, you’ll be more likely to see a leather laptop bag or briefcase at the office than you would any other type of case.
